10/27/99Dearest Paul, I hope this letter finds you well. It is I, Michael (Big Mike) Cox. I am currently in Kosovo serving this great country of ours. The only thing keeping my sanity over here is the fond memories of Dickey McGruders, Mainstreet, CourtYard Cafe, and The Beer Seller. As well as your attendance at the wedding of Andrea and myself. Andrea is currently pregnant with our third (and last!) child. I have mentioned naming the child Tall in your honor. I don't think Andrea is much for having a child named "Tall Cox" but we shall see. I have none of your music with me here, so I must rely on my memories of the countless hours listening to you play. If you would please e-mail me so I know you received this. If you care to send any snail mail or possible one of those autographed snazzy publicity type photos... Spc. Michael Cox Looking at your schedule, I see you are a very busy individual. I would greatly appreciate any correspondence. Knowing that in four more short months I will be at the Beer Seller listening to you play, helps to keep me going. All my love to you and the Mrs. sincerely |
