8/4/5
I was not at the infamous "live at the library" - but I was
at UTK during the early 90's and I have a bootleg copy of that cassette
- that cassette has gone with me everywhere I have gone and it really
is one of my true treasured possessions and a constant source of
joy in my life whenever I listen to it - it transported me when I listened
to it back then at UTK and it still has not lost its impact to move me
today.
I didn't know what became of you or your music. If you were even playing
any more or had moved on to something else - or if any more of your tapes
existed or if I would have to baby this one on forever.
Because I had the regular college life story - when I left Knoxville I
lost touch with everything and everyone there eventually - you know -
growing up / moving onward and upward.
I had to leave college early due to some pretty serious personal reasons
and I didn't complete my degree - after I left Knoxville and
straightened everything out I joined the rat race - but your music
was the one highlight of my time there and I would tell people about your music
and let them hear it - and since I thought I would never get another copy
of it - I have listened to it sparingly through the recent years.
Now I have found your web site and found that I can get a copy of it on
cd (hallelujah).
So I just wanted to let you know that your music has meant a lot to me
and I wanted to thank you for it.
THANK YOU!!!!
Please keep up what you're doing - if sometimes it ever may seem like
your just playing music one more night at O'Charleys or on the road or
wherever - know that your music makes a difference and an impact
on people - and it continues to across the time and space of many years
through one well used bootleg cassette.
Best Regards,
